Bike Art: a shortage of bike racks

There is often a shortage of bike racks as the number of bikers exceeds the infrastructure provided for them. This is a peculiar oversight from city councils who are desperate to get more people on bikes - racks are a relatively cheap and easy thing to provide. The upshot is that commuters will lock their bikes to anything else that is available.
This interesting single speed machine was tied to a road sign all day and I couldn't resist shooting it and then making something I thought was an interesting interpretation of my love of city commuter cycling.
