Jack McKenzie is by is own admission a little unusual. Well into his fifties he threw caution to the winds and registered at UCOL to study photography. pushbike.nz is his final year project. While he doesn't commute by bike very much now (he works from home) he still rides recreationally. His father at nearly 90 still rides every day, and his son refuses to own a car in favour of a bike, so somehow this must run in the genes.
Jack is the NZIPP New Zealand Student Photographer of the Year for 2018.
